First Grand Public Gathering Scheduled For April 25th

The first of three Grand Public Gatherings is scheduled for 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 25th in the Dining Hall of the Monroe County Community College. The Grand Public Gathering will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Resilient Monroe project and give everyone an opportunity to participate in this excting community-wide planning effort.  

Thursday's Public Gathering will feature presentations on how to build Monroe's resilience, the potential impacts of climate variability (featuring State Climatoligist Jeff Andresen) and how local government planning can help shape the future of the Monroe Community. After the presentations, participants will be asked to describe their hopes and dreams for the Monroe Community. 

The second and third Grand Public Gatherings will be held:

6:30 pm - Tuesday, April 30th
Frenchtown Charter Township Hall

6:30 pm - Wednesday, May 1st
Lesow Community Center
